A-haa Team oli jälleen kerran edustettuna Lappeenrannan leiripäivillä tieskö monennen kerran. Tällä kertaa meitä oli kaikkiaan 10 henkeä. Harmillista oli, että porukka joutui jakaantumaan eri paikkoihin majoituksen vuoksi. Telttamajoitus oli lähellä pääkenttää, mutta asuntovaunulla asuville tuli matkaa jo selvästi enemmän. Perjantai illan kuluessa emme ehtineet tavata edes oman porukan kesken, koska beachvolley turnaus oli rannassa ja alkoi klo 18 ja loppui vasta puolen yön tietämillä. Osalle pelaajista tuli 7 peliä ja osalle 6. Yhden joukkueen jouduttua luovuttamaan loukkaantumisen vuoksi. A-haa Team oli kahdella joukkueella liikkeellä. Ahaa I voitti koko turnauksen ja Ahaa II oli loppusijoituksissa viides. Voittaneessa joukkueessa pelasivat Esa Kervinen ja Heikki Laaksonen. Onnea heille vaan. Viidenneksi selviytyneessä joukkueessa pelasivat "Paksu" Pasi ja Hartsa.
Lauantaina aamu alkoi aamupalalla, jonka jälkeen aloimme suunnitella peliohjelmaa normaali lentiksen kilpasarjaan. Kävi ilmi, että järjestäjä oli unohtanut koko kilpasarjan siltä osin, että kenttiä pelaamiseen ei ollut varattu. Laitoimme Esan asialle ja löytyihän sitä tilaa lopulta kesken muiden pelien. Kilpasarjaan osallistui tällä kertaa ainoastaan kaksi joukkuetta A-haa Team ja Kouvola. Pelasimme kaksi peliä paras viidestä systeemillä. Ainakin hopea olisi varma. Niinhän siinä lopulta kävikin. Kaiken rimpuilun jälkeen, ensimmäinen peli meni 3-0 Kouvolalle ja toinenkin 3-1. Pelimme toki parani koko ajan, joten samalla parantamisella olisi varmasti voitettu viides peli.
Lauantaina kaikkien harmiksi alkoi puoliltapäivin sataa ja satoi melkein tarkalleen vuorokauden, joten melkoisen märkä yö vietettiin teltassa sateen keskellä. Onneksi hyvä porukka korvaa pienet kuin suuretkin puutteet ja sunnuntaina telttaa kootessa kaikilla oli hyvä mieli ja uusia kokemuksia repullinen.
